General Sales Conditions

1. SCOPE

These conditions apply to any sale made by SNT, unless the parties expressly agree otherwise.

2. ORDERS

Orders must be placed in writing, via fax, email or through an SNT sales representative. Orders placed by telephone are exceptionally accepted, provided that they are subsequently confirmed in writing.

3. DELIVERIES

• The delivery time for Standard products is three working days, and for refined products it is five working days.

• Shipping and transport insurance are at SNT’s expense and risk.

• All products must be checked upon delivery.

• If an order is not fulfilled in its entirety, the missing part will be sent as soon as possible.

• If the customer does not wish to receive the missing product, he/she must expressly request it in writing.

4. RETURNS

• Any returns require prior acceptance by SNT.

• Tuned products cannot be returned.

5. PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• The granting of credit must be previously authorized by SNT

• Failure to comply with previously defined payment terms and conditions will result in the suspension or interruption of the supply of products.

6. COMPLAINTS

Complaints must be made in writing and within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the material, and the batch number of the product and the number of the respective invoice must also be indicated.

7. WARRANTIES

After analyzing and verifying a claimed product, if SNT considers that it is defective, SNT will only be responsible for replacing it with an equivalent product, or for refunding the respective purchase amount, not accepting any other responsibilities for losses or damages.

8. JURISDICTION

The court of the district of Vila Nova de Gaia has exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising from a purchase and sale agreement with SNT.
